Are Thule wing bars worth it?
Verdict. If money were no object and we did a lot of miles with our bars in place, we’d buy Thule’s WingBars. They’re the most solid, quietest and, once assembled, are easy to remove and refit. But they are too costly for occasional use.

What’s the difference between Thule WingBar and WingBar Evo?
The new SquareBar Evo is the most recent take on the classic Thule crossbar system. This updated bar has the same shape and profile as the original crossbar system, but features an updated system to attach it to the vehicle in the same way as the other crossbars. The WingBar Evo is Thule’s new aerodynamic bar system.

no you definitely can’t trim these down without ruining them. The top track goes all the way across but the bottom tracks, for the feet, only go in part way from the ends.

Check all the seals including the end caps, top rubber seal, bottom rubber seal and plastic slide strips when applicable. Also check to ensure the crossbar is properly seated against the vehicle and the bolts holding it in place are tightened.
Where should Thule roof bars be placed?
They recommend the leading edge of the front bar to be positioned 430mm from the top edge of the front windscreen. The rear bar is 700mm behind the front bar (measured centre to centre).
