How do I get an access code for Cengage?
Purchase access to your course materials online.
- Sign in to your Cengage account.
- On your dashboard, click Review Options.
- Purchase access to individual products or choose a subscription.
- Enter your billing address and click Next.
- Select your payment method and enter your payment information.
What if I lost my Cengage access code?
Should you choose to contact us by phone, we will create a case for you and ask that you reply to your case email with your receipt and access code picture. Bookstores may contact [email protected] for more information or to obtain replacement codes for students.
Can I buy access code separately?
Yes, you absolutely can. While many textbooks come with an access code, they are available to purchase separately online if you do not have one.
Where is my Cengage course key?
Sign in to the Instructor Center at faculty.cengage.com. Click My Courses. Locate your course and click View Sections. to copy the course key.
What does a Cengage access code look like?
Regular SAM access codes can be registered at sam.cengage.com. They look like this: IO1-911-1BA-EBC-828-4AF. Legacy WebAssign codes can be registered on your Cengage Student Dashboard by accessing your course from the Courses menu within the sidebar on the left side of the page.
Do Cengage access codes expire?
Most codes are valid for one term. If a code is valid for a longer period of time, the duration is stated on the access code card. There are four ways to obtain an access code: Purchase a textbook that is bundled with an access code card, and enter the code after logging into WebAssign.

Sign into your account at https://login.cengage.com. Once signed in, click Enter Access Code / Course Key at the top of the page and enter your eBook access code. Once the code has been registered, you will have access to the eBook title on your Cengage.com dashboard.
