Why is it called Paradox cave?
Name for the cave in Light World East Death Mountain. Presumably named Paradox Cave because of the internal layout, which doesn’t line up with the external layout/entrances/exits in several ways, including the 2F exit (inside the exit is on the left, outside it’s on the right).
How do you open a chest in the Mountain?
Read the runes on the back of the statue, open the Hacksilver chest around the other side of it, and then smash the wooden planks to the East to find a chamber with a Scroll on the floor, called The Serpent. Go back out to the statue and open the big doors to the North-East to continue.
