Yes, you can. RetroFoam insulation is both soft and pliable. Its composition makes it very easy to fish electrical wiring through the injection foam insulation.
Can you cover wires in attic with insulation?
Yes, you absolutely can. You can lay insulation around the junction boxes as well. Making sure that the insulation is of a fiberglass material will not only ensure a fireproof setup but also reduce airflow from the home through the attic.
Should cables be protected in walls?
All electrical cables should be set into the walls at a minimum depth of 50mm if they are not mechanically protected. If it isn’t possible to chase the walls to that depth then the cables should be set deep enough so that metal capping can cover them and allow for plaster to cover that.
Can you put fiberglass insulation over electrical wires?

push the bit through the insulation, using short jabs, at an upward angle, toward either back corner. if there is paper, foil or plastic on your side, just cut through it. when the bit hits the back corner, walk the bit into and up the corner by giving the drill short bursts (forward or reverse, whichever works better)
