What is English and American studies?
American and English Studies focuses on the language, literature and culture of English-speaking societies. The degree programme is made up of four areas: linguistics, literary studies, cultural studies, and language classes.
Is British education harder than American?
It depends honestly. I did some comparisons of exams, and it’s almost 50/50 for A Level vs AP. However, in general I would say UK students have it harder when it comes to exams, but many British people, like some down below ,take it too far by saying Americans are inferior to those of the UK, which is untrue.

Is British or American education better?
I do believe American schools (generally) are better at teaching writing and emphasize it more even in elementary school. However, there are some basic differences between British and American writing styles. If it is Britain, choose a British school. If you don’t have a choice, either school will work.
