What can be used in Arena TBC?
No consumables other than bandages and conjured items can be used while in the arena. There will be a waiting area similar to the current battlegrounds where players on the team will be able to conjure items and cast buffs. Abilities/spells/items with cooldowns longer than 15 minutes cannot be used while in the arena.
Do engineering items work in Arena TBC?
The only Use effects that work in Arena now are the Gloves, and the Parachute cloak attachments. (and trinkets I guess, but why would you wear those?) Things that don’t work are mind control cap, rocket boosts, grenades, all items (this is a general rule, e.g. potions).

Gnomish rocket boots don’t explode (at least mine haven’t and I’ve had them a looooong time). All you can get is a gyro malfunction (moves you in random directions, but never off the edge of a ledge), they also last a random amount of time UP TO 20 seconds, they can just last 1!

explode like every other use. on a side note, if you dont mind sinking mithril/fuel, they ALWAYS save the mageweave boots and the heavy leather. you will never have to replace the mageweave boots or the heavy leather, they will always be salvaged. the fuel is never salvaged, and the tube/trigger is random.

Use: These dangerous looking boots significantly increase your run speed for 20 sec. They are prone to explode however, so use with caution.
Are goblin Rocket boots worth it?
These boots are a must have for non-speed enchanced flag capturers in WSG. Unfortunately they’re expensive, not always easy to find in AH, and they explode way too often. The damage isn’t bad but the gnomish rocket boots are better value for those with enough engineering.
