How do I register in SEVIS?
To register an initial student in SEVIS:
- Go to the Student Information page.
- Click Registration. The Registration page opens.
- Enter the registration information: Fields. Relevant Information.
- Enter required U.S. Address information through the modal.

How do I check my SEVIS status?
You may check your current SEVIS status by talking to your designated school official or responsible officer. For questions, send a detailed e-mail to [email protected].
What is US SEVIS fee?
You will need to fill in a Form I-901 with information from your Form I-20 or DS-2019 and pay the required fee. For most people, the I-901 SEVIS fee is $350. See the Fee Amount Chart for more detailed fee information.
How many days SEVIS will be active?
If the period between programs is longer than 5 months, your new school must issue a new initial I-20 with a new SEVIS number. You must leave the U.S. within your 60-day grace period and re-enter no earlier than 30 days before your new program start date.

How much is the SEVIS fee for f1?

How do I find my SEVIS ID number?
All SEVIS ID numbers start with the letter N. On the Form I-20, the number is on the top right hand side of the first page under the words Student’s Copy and above the barcode. On the DS-2019, the number is on the top right hand side of the page in the box above the barcode.
How long does I-20 process take?
It will normally take 1 week to prepare your I-20 once you have been accepted and have submitted all of the SEVIS/visa documents.
