What is the difference between MagnetoSpeed V3 and Sporter?
The main difference is that the Sporter can fit on barrels from . 5″ to 1″ in diameter. The V3 can fit on barrels and suppressors from . 5″ to 2″ in diameter.
Can you use a MagnetoSpeed with a muzzle brake?
The MagnetoSpeed Sporter chronograph was designed to be used on barrels from 1/2 inch up to 1 inch in diameter. In can also accommodate muzzle brakes and flash hiders up to 2.7 inches in length.
How accurate is Magneto speed?
The accuracy of our chronographs can be expected to be between 99.5% and 99.9%.
Can you use MagnetoSpeed Sporter with suppressor?
No. The Sporter was not designed for use with a suppressor.
Can you use a MagnetoSpeed on a shotgun?
MagnetoSpeed includes spacers that allow you to adjust the location of the “bayonet” in relationship to the bottom of the inside diameter of the barrel. That spacer is about 1/4″ in dimension. Unfortunately, if you have the bayonet that far below the barrel, it doesn’t work for shotguns.
