Don’t get hit by his Whirlwind or you will die. I also assume his balls of death will kill you. I recommend tanking him in the bottom right corner of the room so that you can easily avoid the balls of death. You can also stun him during his whirlwind, but don’t get too close.

The Echo of Gul’dan is susceptible to a wide range of CC. I was able to stun him with Shockwave and Storm Bolt, as well as Fear him in place with Intimidating Shout. If you class has any CC or the option to talent into any, I highly – HIGHLY – reccomend that you do, especially if you’re trying to tackle this early.
