Where is the graduation ceremony? All graduation ceremonies take place in the McEwan Hall, Edinburgh.

What should I wear to DMU graduation?
Graduands are expected to dress smartly (no jeans and trainers). As the hood is secured with a loop at the front, we advise female graduands to wear a jacket, dress or blouse with buttons. Male graduands can usually secure the hood under a tie. Those dressed inappropriately may not be admitted to the ceremony.
Do I have to go to my graduation?
You need to go. And if you’re the first person in your family to graduate college, you don’t have a choice in the matter — your attendance is mandatory. If you still need more convincing, here are all the reasons you should attend your graduation ceremony, even if you don’t want to.
Is graduation ceremony necessary?
No, you don’t have to attend your ceremony. You’ll still receive your award, it will just be conferred in your absence (graduating “in absentia”).
Are you a student until you graduate?
Technically you aren’t finished until you graduate, but with some courses the graduation is 6 months+ after the last exam so to all intents and purposes it’s when you finish your last exam.
