Is BMC HealthNet Plan MassHealth?
BMC HealthNet Plan offers two types of MassHealth plans. Both have the same benefits package and it is only the network of doctors that are different for each plan. Managed Care Organization (MCO) – We work with providers across the state to offer MassHealth to our members.
How long does a prior authorization take MassHealth?
DME – within 15 calendar days after the date the PA unit receives the request. For all other services (excluding pharmacy and transportation) – within 21 days after the date the PA unit receives the request.

Health Net sells Medicare Advantage plans that serve as an alternative to original Medicare. In 2021, Health Net joined the Wellcare company, and Health Net Medicare Advantage plans are now offered in some counties in California, Oregon, and Washington as Wellcare by Health Net.
How long does it take for MassHealth to approve documents?

Does BMC HealthNet cover chiropractic?
The Plan reimburses providers for chiropractic manipulative treatment, office visits, and radiology services in accordance with Medicare and Medicaid rules.
What is Health Net PPO?
Our preferred provider organization (PPO) members have access to an expansive network of both local and out-of-state providers. They’ll also have coverage for a wide range of medical services – and specialist visits require no referral.
Is Wellcare and healthnet the same?
