Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (PMG) is an immersive mixed media art environment that is completely covered with mosaics. The creator, Isaiah Zagar, used handmade tiles, bottles, bicycle wheels, mirror, and international folk art to chronicle his life and influences.
How long is Philadelphia Magic Gardens?
How long do people typically spend at PMG? We recommend at least 30 minutes to enjoy both the outdoor sculpture labyrinth and the indoor galleries. However, your admission ticket is valid from time of entry until PMG closes, so you’re welcome to spend as much time as you can!

Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (PMG) consists of both indoor and outdoor mosaicked spaces. Two gallery spaces and a fully-mosaicked basement are inside our building. The outdoor mosaicked sculpture garden covers three city lots and is made of passageways at street level and below ground.
Are dogs allowed at Magic Gardens Philadelphia?
PETS: Child/dog friendly dogs and service animals are allowed at PMG. We ask that you keep your pet on a leash and clean up after them.
Can you walk around Penn’s Landing?
Yes it is safe to walk to the festival pier at Penn’s Landing. We walked over there a couple of times and walked all around the pier. It is actually really close to the hotel.
How long do people spend at Morris Arboretum?
Strolling the area, it’s easy to spend 2 or 3 hours enjoying the various flowers, plants, trees, the Fernery, and other special features. Today’s visitors can thank John Morris and Lydia Morris for the beautifully manicured space.
Can you run at Morris Arboretum?
Runs Weekdays 10 am – 4 pm and Weekends 9 am – 4 pm. The Holiday Garden Railway opens the day after Thanksgiving through January 2nd, 2022. Runs daily 10 am – 4 pm.
