Notability is available for purchase in Apple’s App Store. It requires iOS 14+ and/or macOS 11.0+ and works on iPad, Mac, iPhone, and iPod touch. Notability runs natively on Macs with Apple’s M1 chip. If you have both versions, you can sync notes between them through iCloud.

How do I get Notability from iPad to Mac?
Enabling/Disabling iCloud Syncing
- Select in the bottom left side of your Notability library. On Mac, you can also go to: Your top menu screen > Notability > Settings.
- Go to the iCloud tab.
- Toggle iCloud on or off.
- If toggling iCloud off, choose what to do with local copies of your notes. Keep on my device.
Do apps purchased on iPad transfer to Mac?
If you make purchases on your iPhone, iPad, or another Mac, always sign in using the same Apple ID so you can see all of your store purchases on this Mac and download any available updates.
