How do I choose a 3M VHB tape?
Test the surface for both the flow of the adhesive and the ability to achieve contact with the other surface. THICKNESS — Choose tapes with higher thickness to correspond with higher rigidity and flatness irregularity of your materials. Use thinner tapes when working with more flexible materials.

How do you unstick a VHB?
1) Spray WD-40 over the tape and the surrounding area and leave it to soak for a few minutes. If the tape is attached to a vertical surface, grab a towel, and soak the solution into it and use the towel to wipe away the residue. 2) After a few minutes, grab a small knife or any other thin product to peel away the tape.

How long does VHB tape take to set?
After application, the bond strength will increase as the adhesive flows onto the surface. At room temperature, approximately 50% of the ultimate strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours.
