Does the post office still redirect mail?
You can redirect as many people’s post as live at the address. But remember that if this is more than eight people you’ll need to come into your local Post Office branch and we’ll help you get your application sent off.

Go to USPS.com/move to change your address online.
- This is the fastest and easiest way, and you immediately get an email confirming the change.
- There is a $1.10 charge to change your address online.
- Warning: You don’t need to pay a separate company to change your address.
How do I redirect a letter?
Firstly, you need to cross out the address on the envelope using a black permanent marker then write the new address, in block letters. Then write “Moved or Forward” on the envelope and put it back in your mailbox or take it down to the Post Office.
Can you redirect mail for free?
You can’t redirect your mail for free, but you can either pay to redirect your mail or update your address across all providers at the same time.
How much does mail forwarding cost?
