Call opening times You can report concerns on 0300 1234 999 but we’re unable to accept anonymous reports. The vast majority of calls we have to respond to come in during the day and early evening and we need to make sure we have enough officers available to deal with emergencies in these peak times.

How do I get a welfare check on my dog?
That said, even if you are unsure of the law as it pertains to the situation you’ve witnessed, you can still contact your local animal control or sheriff’s office, report what you’ve seen, and request that a “welfare check” be conducted at the address in question.

What happens if someone reports you to RSPCA?
The RSPCA are obliged to investigate each case reported to them. They will come along and see that the dog is being well cared for and that will be the end of it. Just because they are investigating doesn’t mean anything is wrong they just have to make sure the complaint is unfounded. Don’t worry about it.
