Is DPSS the same as Medi Cal?
DPSS offers Medi-Cal health insurance, CalFresh food assistance, CalWORKs cash assistance for families, and General Relief cash assistance for individuals. We also assist customers who are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, substance use disorders, and we have many other social service programs available.
How do I report income to DPSS?

How do I upload documents to Calworks?
Log in to your account. Click on the “Upload Eligibility Documents” link located on the right, below “Actions Needed” in the Household Summary page. Click “Upload Document” under the household member after the information for the proof they need to submit. Select the document type for the document you want to upload.
